It has been 48 days and counting since Cannabis City welcomed the recreational retail marijuana sector to the city of Seattle, and we are still waiting for the 2nd store to receive a license. To put it into perspective, smaller cities of Tacoma and Bellingham have more weed shops than Seattle. And to top it all off, Cannabis City lowered the Washington State flag, signaling that they are out of marijuana once again.

But WAIT! We don’t want to get too discouraged, because, before you can say Sour Diesel – they are stocked again! This all happened within hours…

But still, we are 48 days and counting, without a 2nd Seattle pot shop. So, how much longer will we have to wait before we get to see who the 2nd Seattle marijuana retail store will be? 1 week? 2 weeks? Another month? Greenside, a soon-to-be Bellevue marijuana shop, should open in the future when it sorts out permits with the city. At least it’s close enough to Seattle to give us another option- of course, once it opens…
