With the addition of recently opened Dockside Cannabis up North, and Rain City Cannabis in the southern part of the city, Seattle now has eight recreational marijuana stores. And no store has a name more in tune with our geographic location than the latter.

That’s Tae Rhee. He is the owner of Rain City Cannabis. His dream of opening a pot shop in Seattle finally came to a realization roughly months after the first legal retail shop opened its doors. Located just west of I-405 at 11537 Rainier Ave S, Seattle, WA 98178, right off the shore of Lake Washington where the Cedar River empties into the body of water, Rain City is in prime location to serve the Rainier Beach area as well as those who live in Renton and Tukwila.
“It’s a whole new world for the recreational cannabis user and my hope is to provide a well curated selection of the best cannabis products that Washington has to offer.”
And true to his word, Tae Rhee has stocked the store with some of the more familiar and popular local cannabis products to date including: Avitas AG, Ocean Grown, Bang’s Organic Cannabis, High Five Farms, Deepwater, Liberty Reach, Juju joints, and Baked Botanicals.
