Marijuana Strain Reviews
Critical Jack / by Farmer J’s / purchased from Ocean Greens
“When sampling the strain, this author tasted hints of grape, along with earthiness. The flavor lingers for several moments, and dissipates much like the smoke itself. Partaking in both a water pipe and a vaporizer, both yielded a similar taste, but the water pipe was more preferable (as the nugs burn quite smooth for this strain).
Fruit Punch / by Bang’s Cannabis Company
“The smell of this strain is sweet and funky, it’s heavy on the fruitiness (as the name suggests). Every once and a while you get a strain that is named so appropriately, and truly Fruit Punch packs a… well… it packs a punch (cue the Kool-Aid man bursting through the wall).”
Obama Kush / by High Altitude / purchased from Green-Theory
“This author sampled the strain-at-hand through a vaporizer, it tasted like dryer sheets and spice. There were slight variations of funk and skunk and other “unk”‘s – a pleasant experience overall. Obama Kush has an elegant lightness to it in terms of aroma and flavor, it’s a perfect appetizer to any experience.”
Snoop’s Dream / by Avitas Agriculture / purchased from Green-Theory
“Snoop’s Dream has a duality of sweet and spice when it comes to the smell. Churning up some nugs in my grinder, the fragrance is divine: a solid dryer sheet earthiness lingers on the nostrils, with a sensation from the spice. The bud itself is a remarkable shade of white neon green, snowcapped from tip to stem with fresh powdah’ (sometimes the Northeastern accent in me comes out). Jump on the gondola and take a ride to the top with Snoop’s Dream.”
OG Kush / by High Altitude / purchased from Green-Theory
“The high itself is more on the side of indica then sativa. It’s very body oriented, strong couch-lock, just overall a super “heavy” feeling. This author busted out some keyboards and delay pedals, and pretty much just jammed for awhile. Looking back, I should have totally recorded the session – but I guess that’s a “next time” kind of thing.”
Sour Diesel / by CannaSol Farms / purchased from Green-Theory
“Regardless of this specific Sour Diesel being billed as a sativa, there was some intense body high action happening – all and all the high felt more like a hybrid. Dig in, get ready for this meditative and focused feeling to take you away. To aid the experience, I put on some Indonesian Gamelan music (intended for the Gods) and pretty much just spaced the fuck out.”
Seattle Cough / by Dutch Brothers Farm / purchased from Green-Theory
“I had just gotten off of work, and it was kind of like taking a vacation when I got home. Hitting Seattle Cough sent me to another world – along with bestowing a meditative, focused and creative mindset. The 30% indica really smooths the whole thing out, though. Aches and pain fade away, as euphoria takes hold.”
Moby Dick / by Farmer J’s / purchased from Ocean Greens
“To look upon Moby Dick unfortunately leaves something to be desired, but rest assured this is by far the only fault this author could find with the otherwise stellar strain. I’m well aware all buds aren’t created equally, but it’s important for me to be critical in the presentation (which we all know is only superficial, some of the ugliest looking buds have been the most potent). A little more nug, a little less leaf, a little less shake – that’s all I ask.”
UFO Flower / by Torch NW / purchased from Uncle Ike’s Pot Shop
“The fragrance of UFO Flower is hard to pin. I try to not let the names of strains influence my perception of the smell and taste, but true to it’s title – the smell was alien to me. Breaking a nug apart and holding it close, one can make out a combination of grape, spice, and funk. It’s quite the quandary to describe, and can only be solved by the fact that you’ll just have to try it for yourself.”
Durban Poison / by CannaSol Farms / purchased from Herbal Nation
“Durban Poison’s high packs a wallop. It’s a strong sativa that will seriously get you stoned, don’t let your tolerance fool you. The feeling is incredibly clearheaded, with no sign of heaviness. It’s an uplifting experience, and is by far one of my favorite strains I’ve ever sampled.”
Alice in Wonderland / by CannaSol Farms / purchased from Herbal Nation
“Getting high with Alice in Wonderland is best suited for the AM hours, and nothing is really better then a “good mornin’” session. It’s hard to find yourself “one toke over the line” with this strain, and that makes it perfect for doing morning stuff; brewing coffee/tea, gazing off into the foggy distance while holding a mug of said coffee/tea, and getting ready for whatever you have to do (fingers crossed whatever you have to do involves “nothing”).”
Plushberry / by Avitas Agriculture / purchased from Herbal Nation
“Avitas was spot on in it’s description for the mythical Plushberries flavor, though. I couldn’t specifically identify the smell itself, but the blackberry taste was heavily evident. It’s a fragrant bud that I would recommend for daytime and nighttime use – an “anytime” strain.”
Mickey Kush / by Avitas Agriculture / purchased from Herbal Nation
“I sampled Mickey Kush out of a pipe, and it’s truly the type of herb that tastes how it smells; deep earthiness carries over into a smoked chocolatey flavor, with a lingering hint of lemon-ish fruit. A truly great taste.”
Blue Dream / by Liberty Reach / purchased from Herbal Nation
“Getting high with this Blue Dream will result in an instant wave of euphoria upon exhaling. The feeling comes on strong, and you’ll continue to peak higher over the course of a half hour; it’s kind of like watching a balloon rise up towards the skies, uncontrolled and at the mercy of the elements taking it higher.”
Hawaiian Dutch Treat / by Green Apple Industries / purchased from Cannabis City
“This is all right! It’s low THC, I get that – but maybe this sativa should be used for a nice stroll in the park rather than a night on the town. Here we are sitting in the comforts of a living room and I want to go for a stroll! Don’t see much wrong with the low THC, per se.”
Burmese / by Leaning Tree Cannabis Orchards / purchased from Uncle Ike’s Pot Shop
“Let me tell you though, that subtle fruit punch aroma does a round house kick on your taste buds (which is ironic considering that the fruit punch would in all likelihood punch the tastebuds). We sampled the Burmese from a Hot Box vaporizer, and from a mini-bong – both gave us a wide flavor profile of fruit punch, and toasted earthiness.”
Marijuana Edible Reviews
ZootDrops Kickback / by Zoots / purchased from Uncle Ike’s Pot Shop
“Getting high with ZootDrops Relaxation Blend is an exercise in patience and balance. This author sampled the recommended amount, then twice that amount (separate days). The feeling is subtle, it’s all about relaxation. To the everyday smoker, it’s easy to get lost in the clouds – but to let your body be heavy with comfort, while not being totally ripped out of your skull is what you can achieve if you let this relaxation blend do it’s job (and by that I mean, don’t smoke while waiting for the drops to kick in – just let it roll solo).”
ZootRocks / by Zoots / purchased from Uncle Ike’s Pot Shop
“As the name suggests, these little morsels taste of lemongrass – and aren’t super sugary. The bon bon’s take awhile to dissolve so just roll with it, savor the flavor. Speaking of such things, there are actually two flavors of ZootRocks (the other being chili cinnamon fire) – it’s nice to have variety.”
Legal Rainier Cherry Sparkling Tonic / by Mirth Provisions / purchased from Uncle Ike’s Pot Shop
“Simply written, I was blown away. At the risk of sounding scripted, it was a perfect taste. Sweet with just a hint of tanginess. But what surprised me the most is how well the cannabis is masked. Maybe the secret lies in using only natural ingredients?”
Marijuana Product Reviews
JuJu Joint / by Liberty Reach Farms / purchased from Ganja Goddess
“Getting high with the Juju Joint depends upon which strain the cannabis oil is made from, but I’d generally recommend it to those with low tolerances and new-comers (atleast the strain we had). It’s best enjoyed as the “first smoke of the day” (if you will). Many casual users only smoke once a day, but if you are like this author – you have a high tolerance.”
