If I had to describe my high after consuming a Spot chocolate chip soft cookie (by BotanicaSeattle), I would have to use the word ‘Dreamy.’ I know, I know. It’s not the most original word, especially when describing a resulting high, but at one point I literally felt like I was inside a dream. Is this real? Is this reality or did I slip into another plane of the universe? I’m going to stop right there, though, before I start sounding too cuckoo. But, yeah, dreamy.

You can’t miss the Spot brand soft cookies. In fact, it was one of the first products I saw hanging against the wall when I walked into Uncle Ike’s Pot Shop the other day. A big red or blue dot, or spot, on black. Easily seen and recognized from a distance.
You can purchase a single cookie, which contains 10mg of cannabis infused goodness, or you can purchase a bag of bites, which equates to 25mg total. I purchased the single cookie because I like to sample a product first before I go with the whole shebang.
The cookie is labeled as soft, but wasn’t as soft or chewy as I would have liked it to be. Even so, the taste was delicious and the taste of cannabis was minimal. If you are into the nutritional facts, not only are you going to get high, you’re going to some of that iron, calcium, and protein. Not bad, eh?

I ate about 40% of the cookie and gave 40% to my brother. There was 20% left in case one of us wanted a little more. We sat down and turned on the NBA Finals, Game 3 between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Golden State Warriors.
I am not a big NBA fan. But every year, when the championship finals begin, for some reason or another I tune in. Of course, I would be a bigger NBA fan if we still had the sonice (sorry to buzzkill the review with the reminder).
About 30 minutes into the game, I really started to feel the high sensation creep in. Even though the game had been enjoyable up to this point, it started to become even more so, as you can imagine.
Around halftime, my brother and I walked to the neighborhood market to pick up a cane cola, my beverage of choice after consuming a magical treat. And that’s when I felt like I was dreaming. Feet floating above the concrete sidewalk, I imagined this might be how a hover board would feel like, if they could ever perfect that damn thing. Gently side to side, descending slightly, cruise control on.
The dream sensation only lasted a few minutes but fun while it lasted. Once we returned, we sat down to finish the 2nd half of the game in a mellow bliss.

40% of the Spot cookie was good for me but I probably could have had half of the cookie and been fine. Any more though, and it may have been too much. For $12, a Spot soft cookie would last me two sessions. At $6 a session, not bad at all.
Have you tried any edibles from Spot Cookie? What are your experiences? Do you have any suggestions for the company and their products?
