If you have seen some gold glitter through your favorite store’s display cases, or hanging on the wall behind the register, chances are it is a cannabis product from none other than Sitka. This local Seattle cannabis company produces 100% all natural and additive free cannabis cigarettes and then packages it in ‘bling bling.’ There’s no fools gold here, it’s all ‘bling bling.’
Sitka claims to be the originator of the first cannabis cigarette. A printed piece of paper within the tin of joints says so. They also claim that this idea originated in the dark corner of a bar in the Ballard Neighborhood circa 2012.
Not only is their packaging and branding absolutely fresh for the cannabis cigarettes; but it is the little details like the dotted line, that suggests where to slide your finger nail in order to tear the label, and open the lid to access the product.
In addition to cannabis cigarettes, Sitka insists that they have the finest hashish in the United States. Without further adieu, we award Sitka the Creative Brilliance Award for September 2015.
