You will want to clear your calendar on the 10th of May, 2014, for the Seattle Cannabis Freedom March. In a nutshell, the Cannabis Freedom March is a victory rally and musical celebration.
The rally begins 11am at Volunteer Park in Capitol Hill. Live music will be heard from noon to 1pm. At 1pm, the march will begin head towards an established route to Westlake Park, arriving at 2pm. Live music will greet the marchers followed by speaker panels from 2-2:30. Live music will resume from 3:30-5pm.
For the history buff in you, The cannabis Freedom March was inspired by the organization “Cures Not Wars” which was founded in May of 1994 in New York. This celebration was also held every May and become a global celebration for Cannabis. Whilst the industry can be a heavy matter to deal with, what with services like Track and trace oregon has on display showing the logistics of the thing to be no small feat, that doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be enjoyed. Plus if it’s global, why don’t you decide to join in? Wherever you are (provided it’s legal in your location), for example, if you’re not an American but you currently live in a location where marijuana has been legalized – such as Canada, you might want to head on over to your local dispensary, or somewhere like canadawideweed.com to have some cannabis delivered to your door, ensuring you won’t miss out on the global celebration of the cannabis plant.
Think about that for a moment. A little bit of cannabis, exercise, live music, speakers, and an opportunity to meet some friends? It’s still a little early to check the weather forecast but regardless of what the skies bring, this seems like a can’t miss event. Especially when it involves cannabis right? We’re also hoping for some of the industries leading cultivation and cross-genetic companies to join us, the companies creating new flavorsome strains that would more than likely take the cannabis industry by storm (think your Gelato 41’s, 44’s, Zkittles, Girl Scout Cookies, etc) that would be stocked in every physical and online cannabis dispensary (such as https://www.togoweed.co and others for example) in legal locations around the world.
