MagicalButter.com, the party responsible for the world famous cannabis food truck and only botanical extractor, had an army of green wig wearing employees handing out bottles of water. These rations were a welcome relief to those braving the sweltering heat as they waited for the opening of Cannabis City, Seattle’s first recreational marijuana shop. In addition, a Magical Butter van and tuk tuk were on display.
Leafly.com had a booth set aside, giving away free t-shirts for anyone who downloaded their app. In addition to their popular t-shirts, they handed out pamphlets and information about their website, which is an online cannabis and dispensary resource.
And for those who wanted extra refreshment, the Kickstarter start-up Cookie Counter was on site, selling their delicious vegan ice cream cookies.
A plane was also seen,circling high above Seattle, with a gigantic banner which advertised the Weedmaps brand. Weedmaps.com is a resource somewhat similar to Leafly.
